25 American Traitor: The Trial of Axis Sally

(#11) At least one critic has a very interesting theory about how this biopic about Mildred Gillars, the American woman who wound up becoming the English-language spokesperson for the Third Reich and was convicted of treason following the war, was made. But nearly everyone agrees about the result. Directed and co-written by Michael Polish (Twin Falls Idaho) and co-starring Al Pacino (doing his best Al Pacino impression), the all-too-shallow American Traitor fails in large part due to the leaden, one-note performance of its producer and star, Meadow Williams.
