The 15 Worst Movies of 2020
Above are the lowest-scoring films released in the United States between January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020. Films are ranked by Metascore (an average of grades given by top professional critics) prior to rounding, and any titles with fewer than 4 reviews are excluded. All scores are from December 26, 2020.
(#3) Another director somehow establishing a new career low in 2020 was Roger Kumble (Furry Vengeance), here burdened with the second chapter in what will be at minimum a four-film series based on the One Direction fan fiction turned romance novel franchise by Anna Todd (who steps in as co-screenwriter here). The PG-13-rated first film, 2019's After, was a surprisingly profitable critical dud. Definitely earning its new R rating, Collided was another relative hit despite even worse reviews.
“A film so lazy and inane that it feels as contemptuous towards its audience as I am towards it.” —Peter Sobczynski, RogerEbert.com
