26 Dolittle

(#13) Released in actual theaters back in January, writer-director Stephen Gaghan's career-worst film is the highest-grossing entry in our list by a huge margin. But what all those moviegoers saw was a fairly dreadful reboot of the family-friendly Doctor Dolittle talking-animal franchise that even a strong cast (led by Robert Downey Jr., Antonio Banderas, Michael Sheen, Emma Thompson, Rami Malek, and John Cena) couldn't salvage.
