The 15 Worst Movies of 2018
Updated January 3, 2019 to add late-arriving dud Holmes & Watson.
Above are the lowest-scoring films released in the United States between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018. Films are ranked by Metascore (an average of grades given by top professional critics) prior to rounding, and any titles with fewer than 7 reviews are excluded. All scores are from December 20, 2018.
(#11) Simon West (The Expendables 2) directs this rather forgettable British action thriller starring Dominic Cooper and based on Duncan Falconer's military novels. There were eight books in the Stratton series, but given that the film grossed all of $96,000 worldwide, there probably won't be seven more Stratton movies.
“Wholly useless, entirely harmless, Stratton would be good clean fun, if it was good or fun.” —Tim Robey, The Telegraph
