10 Films to See in February
The shortest month of the year is typically an uninspiring one at the cineplex. But this February is not without its intriguing releases, including a well-reviewed new horror film from Key & Peele's Jordan Peele, one of the best documentaries in recent memory, the year's only Polish vampire musical (so far), an Oscar-nominated animated tale, and sequels to recent successes like John Wick and The LEGO Movie.
Can Will Arnett’s egocentric Batman carry his own film? As a supporting character in 2014‘s The LEGO Movie, he was a clever comedic twist on Christopher Nolan’s version of the Dark Knight. In his own movie, the Caped Crusader has to battle the Joker (voiced by Zach Galifianakis), but he has plenty of help. Batman’s adopted son, Robin (Michael Cera), wants to be a vigilante superhero just like his dad, and Alfred (Ralph Fiennes) and Barbara Gordon/Batgirl (Rosario Dawson) are ready to fight as well. Guess who else might show up?
