10 Films to See in February
The shortest month of the year is typically an uninspiring one at the cineplex. But this February is not without its intriguing releases, including a well-reviewed new horror film from Key & Peele's Jordan Peele, one of the best documentaries in recent memory, the year's only Polish vampire musical (so far), an Oscar-nominated animated tale, and sequels to recent successes like John Wick and The LEGO Movie.
Blue Ruin and Green Room actor Macon Blair makes his feature directorial debut with this Netflix exclusive which just collected uniformly positive reviews at its Sundance premiere. Melanie Lynskey stars as a nursing assistant determined to get her belongings back after she is robbed. She is joined on her quest by her martial-arts-enthusiast neighbor Tony (Elijah Wood), but the two find more trouble than they ever expected.
