With Mario set to take the world again this month in Super Mario Odyssey on the Nintendo Switch, it's time to look back at the franchise to decide which entry is the very best. We ranked every Super Mario Bros. title, going all the way back to the original 1985 game, using scores from Metacritic and GameRankings.
Released as a DLC companion for New Super Mario Bros. U, New Super Luigi U features gameplay similar to its parent game, but with Mario’s brother leading the charge to rescue Princess Peach.
