After the lively awesomeness of The Wrath of Khan, The Search for Spock was a limp letdown. It was clear that Spock’s dying was never really an issue. This installment also offered very little in the way of sci-fi action once again. In fact, Kirk pulls out one of his signature, low-tech fist fights to save the day.
