These Are the Best (and Worst) Star Trek Movies, Ranked
The voyages of the starship Enterprise have enjoyed a long life on the big screen through decades of marauding aliens, environmental crises, and temporal anomalies. Although the crew has achieved its mission of boldly going where no one has gone before, the various films have had spottier levels of success, at least with critics.

Unfortunately, the name The Final Frontier may have been prescient, as this is the film that almost killed the franchise. With two major fake-out plot points and Spock’s annoying half-brother we’ve never met before and never will again, it was hard to find anything to care about in this clunker.
