Spring TV Preview: 20 Notable New & Returning Shows
In the gallery above, our editors pick out the most promising new shows debuting this spring, plus some notable returning favorites. They are listed in order by premiere date.
Debuts April 1 on CBS All Access. The third revival of Rod Serling's groundbreaking anthology series comes from Jordan Peele, who also serves as the show's host. As in the original series, every episode is a stand-alone tale, and that has allowed Peele to enlist a tremendous cast: Kumail Nanjiani, Seth Rogen, Steven Yeun, Jacob Tremblay, John Cho, Allison Tolman, Rhea Seehorn, Luke Kirby, Jessica Williams, Greg Kinnear, Tracy Morgan, Ike Barinholtz, Taissa Farmiga, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Adam Scott (pictured above, listening to R.E.M.) are just some of the people you'll see this season, with the latter starring in a remake of the original series episode "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" (which was also remade as part of the 1983 Twilight Zone movie).
