Debuts March 8 on Netflix. The 2015 debut season of Jessica Jones is still the highest-scoring season of a Marvel TV show to date (on Netflix or anywhere). This weekend—with a rare-for-Netflix Thursday debut—Krysten Ritter's hard-drinking private investigator finally returns for another batch of 13 episodes (after last appearing in 2017's The Defenders).
Reviews for season 2 aren't quite as stellar (so far), but critics are still fans of the show, which utilizes an all-female lineup of directors. Janet McTeer joins the cast, while returning co-stars include David Tennant and Rachael Taylor.
