A prequel to Zack Snyder's Netflix hit zombie heist movie Army of the Dead (itself released just a few months ago), Thieves takes place six years earlier near the inception of the zombie apocalypse (don't expect to see any undead here) and centers on the character of safecracker Ludwig Dieter (a returning Matthias Schweighöfer, who also directs the film). Expect more prequels and spinoffs to follow.
