The month ahead will bring the highly anticipated return of HBO hit Succession, Denis Villeneuve's long-delayed Dune movie, a prequel to The Sopranos, and (unsurprisingly) a lot of horror. In the gallery on this page, our editors have selected the most interesting TV and movie titles debuting at home in the next month, listed in order by premiere date.
Dramedy series debuts October 14 on Paramount+
Kate Beckinsale (a late replacement for the originally cast Isla Fisher) stars in a darkly comedic Funny or Die-produced series as a discredited journalist who hopes to revive her career by uncovering evidence that a young mother (Jules Latimer) now serving a life sentence for murder was wrongfully convicted. But she may be in over her head. (Well, it's a comedy, so she's definitely in over her head.) The 10-episode series comes from Dead to Me writer Rebecca Addelman. Two episodes stream on day one, followed by weekly installments.
