21 TV Shows to Watch in November and December
In the gallery above, our editors have selected the most interesting TV shows (including TV movies and specials) debuting during the final months of 2019, listed in order by premiere date.
Season 2 debuts November 5 on Netflix. When it premiered on Netflix at the beginning of 2018, the pitch-black British comedy series (adapted from Charles Forsman's graphic novel) about two troubled teens on an eventful road trip earned raves from TV critics and performed so well on Netflix that the streaming service ordered a second helping—even though the story from the comics had been told in full. Can the second series, which takes place two years later, repeat the success of the first? Returning star Jessica Barden is joined by Naomi Ackie, a new character with a mysterious connection to Barden's Alyssa, and Tim Key, who looks like he'll be playing Alyssa's new boss. (Will season 1's other lead, Alex Lawther, return? Netflix and Channel 4 have been tight-lipped about his character's fate.) Charlie Covell returns to write the new episodes, while Blur's Graham Coxon is back to provide the score.
