Monkey movies are making a comeback.
With two big-time movies starring primates—Kong: Skull Island and War for the Planet of the Apes—bowing in 2017, we thought it was time to rank all of the monkey movies of the past 25 years by Metascore.
Starring Kevin Smith, who also wrote and directed the film, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back signals the return of the pair of eponymous characters from the Clerks series.
The Austin Chronicle called this 2001 movie a “hit-or-miss comedy.”
Smith announced in early 2017 that he hoped a Jay and Silent Bob sequel would shoot this summer.
