Animated series debuts May 4 on Adult Swim (and May 5 on HBO Max)
The latest adult-targeted series from animation pioneer Genndy Tartakovsky (Primal, Samurai Jack) is a supernatural steampunk fantasy centering on a trio of heroes who, through the power of reincarnation, have been battling a malevolent force across multiple lifetimes for pretty much all of eternity. Now, however, that cycle of reincarnation has been broken, and the three would-be heroes are trapped in the bodies of London teenagers with only a vague memory of their purpose and little control over their powers—while their enemy has taken on even more powerful new forms. The first two (of 10) episodes air back-to-back the night of May 4th on Adult Swim and also stream the following day on HBO Max.
