Miniseries debuts May 1 on HBO and HBO Max
Finally arriving Monday after missing several previous release windows (as well as the 50th anniversary of the Watergate break-in), HBO's somewhat comedic, five-episode retelling of the Watergate scandal and the fall of Richard Nixon's presidency comes from Veep veterans David Mandel, Peter Huyck, and Alex Gregory, with Mandel also directing every episode. That scandal came with a huge cast of characters, and Plumbers itself will have a huge cast of recognizable faces, led by Woody Harrelson as E. Howard Hunt and Justin Theroux as G. Gordon Liddy. Also on board are Judy Greer, Lena Headey, Domhnall Gleeson, Ike Barinholtz, Kathleen Turner, Toby Huss, David Krumholtz, Rich Sommer, F. Murray Abraham, Kiernan Shipka, Corbin Bernsen, Gary Cole, John Carroll Lynch, and more.
