Zachary Wigon’s sophomore feature, his first since 2014’s The Heart Machine, stars Margaret Qualley as Rebecca, a dominatrix whose wealthy client, Hal (Christopher Abbott), suddenly wants to end their secret relationship because he is about to inherit his father’s hotel chain. What ensues is a battle of wills set over one night as Rebecca and Hal struggle to get what they want. Written by Homecoming creator Micah Bloomberg, it’s an enjoyably perverse two-hander.
