Season 2 debuts March 6 on HBO and HBO Max
Did you remember that HBO has a Perry Mason remake/reboot series in its lineup? It's easy to forget: The series last aired in 2020. But this month finally brings the launch of season 2, which centers on the murder of the son of a powerful local oil magnate. Joining returning stars Matthew Rhys (who plays the titular attorney), Juliet Rylance (as Della Street), Chris Chalk (as the cop Paul Drake), and Justin Kirk (now a series regular) are Katherine Waterston, Hope Davis, Sean Astin, Paul Raci, and Wallace Langham, among others. There are behind-the-scenes changes too: The Knick creators Jack Amiel and Michael Begler have taken over as showrunners.
