Dramedy series debuts March 19 on AMC
One of the few remaining AMC shows not recently canceled, Lucky Hank is also the first series to be led by Bob Odenkirk since the conclusion of Better Call Saul, TV's most acclaimed series in recent years. Adapted by Paul Lieberstein (The Office) and Aaron Zelman (Damages) from the Richard Russo novel Straight Man, the new dramedy finds a bearded Odenkirk playing a college professor and English department chairperson (at a fictional school in rural Pennsylvania) who is undergoing a midlife crisis. The eight-episode first season also stars Mireille Enos (The Killing), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Oscar Nunez (The Office), Chris Diamantopoulos (Silicon Valley), and Tom Bower (Ray Donovan), while directors include Peter Farrelly.
