Ghostface takes his murdering out of Woodsboro for the first time with a trip to New York City in this sixth film in the franchise launched in 1996 by director Wes Craven and writer Kevin Williamson. Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett and writers James Vanderbilt and Guy Busickup pick up where 2022’s Scream left off with Sam (Melissa Barrera), Tara (Jenna Ortega), Mindy (Jasmin Savoy Brown), and Chad (Mason Gooding) battling another Ghostface(s) with the help of Courtney Cox’s Gale Weathers and a newly introduced Kirby Reed (Hayden Panettiere) from Scream 4. Joining the cast are Dermot Mulroney, Tony Revolori, and Samara Weaving, and leaving the cast is Neve Campbell, whose Sydney Prescott will miss her first Scream film.
