Season 2 debuts March 25 on Netflix
Breakout star Regé-Jean Page may be gone (for now), but Netflix's hit costume drama from Shondaland and series creator Chris Van Dusen continues its adaptation of Julia Quinn's book series for a second season—turning this time, appropriately enough, to her second novel, which follows the eldest Bridgerton sibling Anthony (played again by Jonathan Bailey) as he searches for a wife and finds a potential candidate in Kate Sharma, played by Sex Education's Simone Ashley. Other returning cast members include Ruth Gemmell, Polly Walker, Claudia Jessie, Florence Hunt, Nicola Coughlan, and Bessie Carter (plus narrator Julie Andrews), while new faces include Charithra Chandran and Rupert Evans, who plays the Bridgerton family patriarch. The series has already been renewed for two additional seasons.
