March is overstuffed with new and returning shows—easily the biggest single-month haul since the start of the pandemic. Among other titles the month ahead will bring the long-awaited sci-fi series based on the Halo game franchise, the return of what might be TV's best comedy series (Atlanta), a new pirate comedy from the creator of What We Do in the Shadows, Adam McKay's dramatized look at the 1980s Lakers, a new Marvel series and Pixar film on Disney+, spinoffs from The Boys and Big Mouth, and new seasons of Bridgerton and Star Trek: Picard. In the gallery on this page, our editors have selected the most interesting TV and movie titles debuting at home in the next month, listed in order by premiere date.

Movie debuts March 11 on Disney+
Originally scheduled for a theatrical release on the same day, Pixar's latest feature is yet another pandemic casualty: It's now bypassing theaters (in the United States, at least) and heading straight to your home as a Disney+ exclusive. (Like recent straight-to-streaming Pixar releases Luca and Soul, it's free for subscribers.) The film centers on a confident but dorky teen girl (Rosalie Chiang) who boasts one rather unusual trait: Anytime she gets overexcited, she transforms instantly into a giant red panda. Sandra Oh also stars for first-time feature director Domee Shi (who previously directed the Oscar-winning Pixar short Bao). A making-of special, Embrace the Panda, also streams the same day.
