Disney hopes to spin another piece of their IP, in this case Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion, into a successful movie with the help of director Justin Simien (Dear White People, Bad Hair) and writer Katie Dippold (The Heat, Snatched). Rosario Dawson and Chase W. Dillon star as a mother and son who hire a motley crew of supernatural experts (LaKeith Stanfield, Owen Wilson, Tiffany Haddish, and Danny DeVito) to help rid their home of nasty spirits led by The Hatbox Ghost (Jared Leto). Dan Levy, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Hasan Minhaj also appear. You'll want to see it in a theater with no windows and no doors.
