Out July 27 for Xbox Series X/S
Released on Windows last year to widespread critical acclaim, Microsoft's latest and greatest iteration of its classic realistic flight simulation game is headed to the Xbox Series X/S at the end of this month as a console exclusive. Also available free to Xbox Game Pass subscribers on day one, the console version aims to reproduce the full PC version of the game (including all recent updates) in 4K resolution at 30 fps (or higher for certain high-end TVs with HDMI 2.1), and it will even feature extra exclusive content in the form of 14 bonus tutorials (boosting the total to 22). Just want to watch the scenery? An AI co-pilot can guide the plane to notable destinations for you. Both Xbox and PC versions are expected to get a new "land anywhere" feature in an upcoming (free) update, and an expansion tied to the upcoming film Top Gun: Maverick will follow in November.
