Drama/fantasy series debuts January 8 on AMC+
Following quickly after the surprisingly great debut season of Interview With the Vampire —one of critics' favorite new shows of 2022—comes AMC's latest Anne Rice adaptation (and, yes, there will be more). This one, as you already guessed, is based on the author's Lives of the Mayfair Witches series. The eight-episode series comes from Masters of Sex veterans Esta Spalding and Michelle Ashford and stars Alexandra Daddario as a neurosurgeon who discovers that she comes from a family of witches. Jack Huston, Tongayi Chirisa, and Harry Hamlin also star.
Don't subscribe to AMC+ yet? The January 8 premiere—but not the subsequent episodes—will air that night at 9p across five cable channels including BBC America, Sundance, and AMC.
