After directing the original Magic Mike in 2012, Steven Soderbergh stepped away for Magic Mike XXL, allowing Gregory Jacobs to direct. But Soderbergh is back behind the camera for this third and (assumed) final installment in the franchise. Written by Reid Carolin, as the previous two films were, Last Dance finds Channing Tatum’s Mike broke and bartending in Florida when he meets Maxandra Mendoza, a wealthy socialite played by Salma Hayek Pinault. Together, they go to London to put on a show, but complications ensue, as they tend to when business and pleasure mix.
