Drama series debuts February 25 on Netflix
This streaming-only sequel to the long-running History Channel historical drama Vikings takes place a full century later and centers on the conflict between the Vikings and the English. That time jump also enables Valhalla to feature perhaps history's most famed Viking, Leif Eriksson, played by Sam Corlett. Laura Berlin, Frida Gustavsson, and Bradley Freegard also star. Netflix has committed to at least 24 episodes of the new series, which will be spread over multiple seasons including this month's eight-episode launch.
