Season 21 debuts February 24 on NBC
[insert your own "dun-dun" sound] When is the 21st season of a network TV drama an event? Well, when season 20 aired over a decade ago. Dick Wolf's flagship crime drama returns for its first new episodes since 2010 with a mix of new and returning faces. Hugh Dancy, Camryn Manheim, and Jeffrey Donovan fall into the former category, while Anthony Anderson returns as Detective Kevin Bernard and Sam Waterston once again plays D.A. Jack McCoy. Law & Order's original 20-season run fell just short of breaking Gunsmoke's record for longest-running primetime live-action series—a record that was eventually broken by L&O spinoff Special Victims Unit, which remains on the air today.
