Suspiria OST by Thom Yorke
Out October 26 on XL Recordings. Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming remake of Dario Argento's 1977 horror classic Suspiria is one of the more intriguing films headed to theaters this fall. (The movie just had its world premiere at Venice, where it won over most critics.) And it features the first-ever film score from Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, following in the footsteps of his bandmate Jonny Greenwood (who has been soundtracking movies for 15 years). Yorke cites Vangelis as an influence on his new record, which features 25 brand new tracks (on two CDs) split between conventional songs and instrumental pieces of varying lengths, some recorded with the London Contemporary Orchestra.
