Fantasy miniseries debuts December 25 on Netflix
You'll have to wait until summer to stream the third season of Netflix's game-to-TV adaptation The Witcher. But Christmas Day brings a six-part prequel miniseries set 1,200 years before the time of Geralt of Rivia. Blood Origin traces the origin story of the very first Witcher and stars Sophia Brown (a replacement for the originally cast Jodie Turner-Smith), Laurence O’Fuarain, Minnie Driver, and Michelle Yeoh (who, in one of the few good developments of 2022, is suddenly everywhere all at once).
