15 Films to See in December
The force is strong with this month: The final weeks of 2015 could bring some of the year's best movies. At the very least, December will feature new releases from directors such as David O. Russell, Quentin Tarantino, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Ron Howard, Spike Lee, Michael Moore, and Charlie Kaufman.
Oh, and there's a little something called The Force Awakens, though if you are hearing about it from us for the very first time, congratulations on awakening from your coma.

Quentin Tarantino’s eighth film screens in 100 or so 70mm theaters on Christmas Day before expanding nationally (in a slightly different cut) on conventional screens beginning January 8th. The film has taken a strange road to the big screen: the script leaked onto the internet, Tarantino staged a live-read prior to production, and police unions have threatened to boycott the film (or worse). Regardless, anticipation is strong for this western about a bounty hunter (Kurt Russell) and his fugitive (Jennifer Jason Leigh) who are waylaid with some shifty characters (Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Dern, Walton Goggins, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Demián Bichir) when a snowstorm impedes their way to Red Rock.
