Multi-game compilations and newly released ports of games released in prior years on other platforms are excluded, unless they are substantially different from the prior release(s) (for example, an HD remaster of a previous-gen game that also adds some new content). We have also excluded DLC.
The triangle in Square Enix's turn-based tactical RPG (which comes from one of the producers of Octopath Traveler) originates in the game's premise: It's set during a messy conflict between three countries on the fictional content of Norzelia, where key resources like salt and iron have become scarce.
