The first film in nearly a decade from Norwegian filmmaker Maria Sødahl is a relationship drama about a husband and wife (Stellan Skarsgård, Andrea Bræin Hovig) who are brought closer together after she is diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. The success of such a film hinges upon its lead performances, and both actors excel, according to critics.
