(Sub Pop) Two-year-old psych-rock outfit Heron Oblivion is fronted by Meg Baird (Espers) and features two members of Comets on Fire and one from Assemble Head in Sunburst Sound. Their distortion-heavy March debut impressed reviewers with its balance of soothing and seething.
