Miniseries debuts August 18 on Hulu
The latest star-filled cable drama from David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies) is an adaptation of another best-seller by the same author, Liane Moriarty, and is set during a 10-day retreat at a luxury health-and-wellness resort. Nicole Kidman plays the health guru leading the nine guests through a surprisingly twisty journey to healing, but it is hard to call any of them strangers when they are played by the likes of Melissa McCarthy, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Manny Jacinto, and Samara Weaving. Jonathan Levine (50/50) directs all eight episodes, which will arrive weekly following the three-episode premiere.
