Produced by Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine, this seven-episode adaptation of the best-selling novel by Laura Dave stars Julia Garner (replacing the originally cast Julia Roberts, who dropped out due to a scheduling conflict) as a woman investigating the mysterious disappearance of her husband (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) while growing closer to her 16-year-old stepdaughter (Angourie Rice, Mare of Easttown). The adaptation, which also stars Aisha Tyler and Geoff Stults, comes from Dave herself along with Josh Singer. Two episodes stream on day one.
