Comedy/reality series debuts April 7 on Amazon Freevee
Freevee's eight-episode, mockumentary-style workplace comedy follows a group of jurors (including James Marsden, playing himself) throughout the course of a trial. The catch: One of the 12 jurors is a real person who believes he is serving actual jury duty and doesn't know that everyone else around him—including the judge, the lawyers, and his fellow jurors—is an actor following a script. Will that twist prove to be inspired or merely cruel? The jury is out. Jury Duty comes from The Office veterans Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg and opens with four episodes on April 7, followed by two more on each of the following two Fridays.
