Director Daniel Goldhaber’s follow-up to 2018’s Cam follows a crew of environmentalists (Sasha Lane, Forrest Goodluck, Marcus Scribner, Jake Weary, Ariela Barer, Jayme Lawson, and Lukas Gage) as they plot, prepare, and execute a dangerous mission: sabotaging a pipeline. Based on the nonfiction book by Andreas Malm and written by Goldhaber with Barer and Jordan Sjol, the film deftly juggles its dramatic character beats, thriller moments, and climate message.
