An extremely toxic relationship is at the center of Kristoffer Borgli’s dark comedy. When Signe’s (Kristine Kujath Thorp) artist boyfriend, Thomas (Eirik Sæther), has some success, her desire to grab the spotlight back leads her to a drastic decision with some Russian rash-causing pills. As Signe’s behavior escalates, Borgli paints a darkly funny and unsparring look at narcissism in our image-obsessed times.
