Miniseries debuts April 22 on Prime Video
Developed by the same team behind the similarly titled 2018 miniseries A Very English Scandal, this three-episode series examines another 20th century British controversy, this one involving the Duke and Duchess of Argyll (played by Paul Bettany and Claire Foy). Also known as Ian and Margaret Campbell, the couple were involved in one of the most sensationalized divorce trials in British history in 1963—one in which allegations of bribery, forgery, theft, drug use, and other crimes surfaced. Reviews for A Very British Scandal were uniformly excellent in the UK, where the series already debuted in December.
