Anthology series debuts April 15 on Apple TV+
Apple's new darkly comedic episodic anthology series comes from GLOW creators Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch and is adapted from a 2019 book of short stories—modern-day fables centering on women—by Cecelia Ahern. Some of the actresses enlisted to star in individual episodes include Nicole Kidman, Cynthia Erivo, Merritt Wever, Issa Rae, and GLOW stars Alison Brie and Betty Gilpin, while additional cast members include Nick Kroll, Daniel Dae Kim, Jake Johnson, Judy Davis, Alfred Molina, Jason Mantzoukas, Hugh Dancy, Simon Baker, Chris Lowell, and Ego Nwodim. Though Apple's shows usually arrive weekly, you'll be able to binge all eight of Roar's unconnected episodes on day one.
