Season 1 debuts April 30 on Apple TV+. Justin Theroux heads the cast for a seven-episode adaptation of the 1981 novel by Paul Theroux (Justin's uncle), which was previously turned into a 1986 feature film starring Harrison Ford. Luther creator Neil Cross and author Tom Bissell are behind the adaptation, which centers on an American family that relocates to the jungle in Latin America. Melissa George and Gabriel Bateman also star. New episodes will arrive on Apple TV+ weekly, though there will be two available on day one—and both are directed by Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes).
