Animated movie streams April 30 on Netflix. Formerly titled Connected (and, pre-pandemic, intended for theatrical release via Sony), this animated family comedy from producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller features the voices of Abbi Jacobson, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Olivia Colman, Eric Andre, Fred Armisen, John Legend, and Conan O'Brien. The sci-fi story revolves around an ordinary family that stands as humanity's last chance at rescue after all other humans are captured by an evil artificial intelligence that takes over every connected device on the planet. (The Mitchells evaded that fate accidentally, by being in the middle of a family nature trip during the attack.)
