72 Yasuke: Season 1

Anime series debuts April 29 on Netflix. Netflix's latest original anime series is a bit unconventional, as it is an international production depicting a fantastical, alternate-history version of the tale of the first African-born samurai warrior (voiced by LaKeith Stanfield) in a feudal Japan filled with mechs and magic. American LeSean Thomas created the six-episode series, which was made at Japan's MAPPA studio with animator Takeshi Koike. The soundtrack comes from Flying Lotus.
