Comedy series debuts April 22 on Peacock. One of the first series pickups for Comcast's new Peacock streaming service—but delayed nearly a year by the coronavirus—this comedy series comes from Parks & Rec/The Good Place creator Mike Schur, Brooklyn Nine-Nine writer Sierra Teller Ornelas, and Ed Helms. The latter also stars in the series as the namesake of a tiny upstate New York town (which borders a Native American reservation) who finds himself battling town leaders—and his childhood friend (Jana Schmieding)—over the town's plans to move a historical statue. The series boasts what likely is TV's largest Native writing staff as well as two Indigenous stars (Schmieding and Michael Greyeyes), while other cast members include Jesse Leigh and Schitt's Creek's Dustin Milligan.
