Max Simkin (Sandler) is a New York-based shoe repairman who discovers a magical heirloom that enables him to step into the lives of his eclectic customers.
The Philadelphia Inquirer said that this fantasy comedy “continues to grow more perplexing as it walks, not runs, toward an unsatisfying ending.”
