With a slew of big-screen video game adaptations in the spotlight (Ratchet & Clank, Angry Birds, Warcraft), it’s the perfect time to look back at the worst videogame flicks out there … and maybe hope that the next bunch will be better.
This is the highest-scoring film of the Resident Evil franchise, which isn’t saying much. But at least the desert setting gives Milla Jovovich a new wardrobe piece in the floor-length duster, and the film a sort of Mad Max-vibe. We can appreciate the visual if not thematic variety.
