Zarqa Nawaz
Biography: Zarqa Nawaz is a mother of four, and former producer for the CBC (Radio); she moved to the Prairies in 1996, and began filming her experiences there. A short comedic film, Me And The Mosque aired on CBC, and Zarqa has used her personal experiences to create the weekly series Little Mosque on the Prairie.
