Biography: Yoshiaki Kawajiri was born in 1950 and grew up in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Yoshiaki Kawajiri is a writer and director of Japanese animations. He is the creator of titles such as Yoju Toshi translated as Wicked City, Jubei ninpucho translated as Ninja Scroll, and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. Yoshiaki is considered one of the most revolutionary directors in Anime history.
